Not a lot of us engage in personal jabs besides Quan and a few others sometimes. Insults are thrown around, but they relevant to the argument being discussed, not ad hominem attacks but legit criticisms of the logic of whomever the opponent is. Me saying Quan is stupid because he thinks Khan can beat Superman is a legit criticism and not the same as, say, Quan insulting people's physical build and sexual proactivity, which is an ad hominem attack.
