Well, yesterday was a shitty day for me.
Going down the list:
1. Some dude form the gym stole $1140 from me...maybe.
2. One of the neighborhood parents is asking too many questions about my wife and I. It's giving off a creepy vibe.
3. My daughter was ill and I had to leave work, early, yesterday (we are in the middle of some major projects and I don't want my daughter to be ill: a lose-lose situation for all involved).
4. Our power went out, last night (OG&E's fault,by the way), and I could not sleep because Oklahoma, around this time of year, is hot and humid.
So, going down that list and thinking, I discovered that Maslow's Hierarchy was almost completely realized (and this is why my day was so shitty).
Here's hoping that shitty day gets much better today.

Could have been worse, like the people in Cali had that huge earthquake. I would figure out what happened to you're money though, also, next time you want to travel with large amounts of cash, have american express travelers checks. Same as cash, but are refunded if lost or stolen.

-Maybe they're swingers scoping out potential targets? But really, probably just annoying nosey neighbors, I've had those.

I was going to make a deposit into my wife's account so she could pay some bills. I put a lock on my locker. Got back to the locker room, lock cut, nothing stolen...but the cash.
There is no way they could have known I had cash. I assume they just saw that I drove a nice car and dressed nicely so they assumed I had a lot of cash...which I did. I never ****ing carry cash! This is why.

There were no cameras in the locker-room nor outside the locker-room.
It was at a Gold's gym. In a very very gangster part of OKC. Tons of gangsters work-out at that gym. Thai, Japanese, Mexico, Colombian, Black, and probably a few other gangster types. Heck, the only type of gangsters I do not see at that gym are Italian Gangsters.
I'm not stereotyping, either. When I first started working out at that gym, some old dude took me aside and told me to keep to myself and pointed out each of the gangster types (and how to tell them apart by their tattoos). The nicest gangsters, so far, have been the Thai dudes. In fact, they are super nice and always happy. Whatever the Thai gangsters are doing, it makes them happy...
Anyway, filing a police report would not get me anywhere because there is no way to prove who did what, it is already a shitty part of OKC (meaning, theft is very high around those parts), and there really is no hope of ever getting that money back. I just assume it was someone that worked out at that gym but it could have been a "guest."
Regardless, I do not have to put up with that shitty gym, ever again: a really nice Gold's opened up 1.2 miles from my house. No gangsters, that I can tell, tons of hot women, and all the works Gold's Gyms usually offer at their big gyms.

No, but he tracked down my wife's cellphone number and texted her, randomly, asking more questions (which included asking for my number). 😐
