DDM,I don't often accuse you of being angry. But why are your "jimmies rustled" today?
Because I may have to start paying $1400 a month in healthcare insurance. My budget only has $890 of discretionary money left, a month. How the f*ck am I supposed to pay for this? And why don't we have universal healthcare options, yet? I'm fine with insurance supplement plans: the US already has them, Germany, the UK, and France have them, so what's the problem with expanding healthcare for everyone?
I may have to quit my job and get a much higher paying job. That sounds simple but it is not: job searches, resume building, interviews. I turned down a VP of IT job, 8 months ago, that paid really well because I wasn't ready to move up to that level of responsibility. Now, I'm regretting it. If I'm being honest, it is because I like my comfortable and non-stressful job, now. I do pretty much all of my work in 2 hours, each day. If I move to another job, I will have 4 times the amount of work to do, or more.
Hey, I had sex last night, though.
