Bus passenger beheaded

I heard about this on the news, very disturbing to say the least.

Ok people get shot every day especially in the USA, but this act is really brutal and messy as apposed to pulling a trigger.

As horrified travelers watched, a Greyhound Canada bus passenger repeatedly stabbed and then decapitated a young man who was sitting and sleeping beside him, a witness said Thursday.

i read about this in the paper today.....apparently the guys ipod was disturbing him and he completely lost it...stabbed him 50-60 times then cut his head off and walked up and down the bus with it in his hand

I have to admit I laughed srug

Also, I'm waiting for someone to go after the passengers that didn't stop the guy.

I laughed as well when I first heard it, how odd.

Its seems aside from chopping the victim up, he also ate some of the flesh.

Was it mind control experiment, was he hungry, or just a rather disturbed individual.

That does suck though..just sitting there sleeping on a bus and the last thing you ever feel before you die is getting woken up by a knife stabbing you in the throat.

yeh, waking up dead with no head with someone eating you isn´t really appealing is it.

My trouble with this story is the timing. Okay, behading a person is not easy. Much less if you're using a knife. So it must have taken the guy a good amount of time to cut off the head. Given the amount of time the passengers and the bus driver could have tackle the guy (then again it would be pointless since the victim was already stabbed to death) to subdue him.

If I had been in that situation at least I would grabed a tool wrench and clobber the guy in the head. You know it's basic instinct to defend yourself and in the rush of things you react. Not that I'm trying to sound all tough...but come on...at least you tried.

Now, I know it is easy to just sit here behind my laptop and say I would have done things different. But then again, who really knows...

My understanding is that he beheaded the guy after being locked in the bus.

I should have made it clear that the mob mentality could work during the stabbing. My bad...

Maybe.

But I would assume everyones thinking "Ok if we rush him at least one of us is getting stabbed in the throat repeatedly like the bloody half man laying on the floor right now...I dont want to risk me being that guy out of all of us that catches the knife" so everyone just does the sensible thing and run for their lives.

My ass would have been running off that bus unless I had the absolute perfect opportunity to kill this guy..like if I had a knife of my own or a big wrench and I was standing behind him.
