STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Runaway

It has taken to incessant rambling, Xavier. And it will not stop, no matter how loudly you shout at yourself. You are too preoccupied to notice that the engines have slowed and that Friste has entered the room to retrieve you. When you finally notice him, he is staring up at you in awe.

"Have you completely lost it?" Friste asks.

Xavier's silver eyes peer through Friste, as cold as stone.

"I am still here."

Friste continues to stare with scrutiny pooling in the dark brown of his eyes and furrowing in his brow.

"We have arrived," Friste says, finally. He presses a command in the console below you and the bacta drains from the container, then unseals and lifts upwards, leaving you cold and damp. Friste tosses a towel at you.

"Your robes are on the desk. Meet me on the bridge when you are dressed."

Friste walks out.

Xavier dresses quietly. He heads off towards where Friste is.

The robes that Friste left for you are not your own, but dark, black robes with a heavy, hooded cloak.

Your lightsaber was sitting on top of the robes, as well. It has not been tampered with it.

I think the new look suits us

Xavier pays no attention to the voice as he quickly activates the lightsaber, then turns off and heads towards Friste.

"An interesting look you picked out for me."

The bridge off the Ravaging Claw is as you remember it, disorganized and in disrepair. Several of the pirates recognize you from their attempted capture of Senator Wojaine. You sense their hatred for you quite easily.

"It is appropriate for what will unfold here," Friste says, not turning away from the viewpoint. "Behold, the dead world of Zrik."

Beyond the viewpoint is a gray world.

Xavier doesn't take his eyes off the viewpoint.

"Why did you attack Ord Janon by the way?"

"Supplies and prisoners," Friste says.

"Prisoners? Why did you need them?"

Friste smiles. "I want to hear what you think I need them for."

"I'm going to assume if such a vast army exists then there are bound to be traps galore awaiting."

Friste shakes his head. "The Key will take care of those."

"Does it have something to do with the keys ability to take souls?"

Friste's grin widens. "Go on."

"I'm assuming your going to need the souls of the prisonaers to raise the army from stasis."

"Very good, my student. You are smarter than you appear to be. I will tear their souls from their bodies and transfer that energy into the army to revive them from a thousand years of sleep! The supplies are so I might equip them with modern firepower."

"And then what, where do you take your army from there?" Xavier says ignoring the student comment.

"Patience, Xavier. My plan will unfold and you will have your part in it."

Friste turns to the pirates on the bridge.

"Enter the atmosphere."

"Very well," Xavier says.
