supposedly most are to appear in The Brave and the Bold as iv herd it, a few at a time if not one at a time given how much focus they will put into it.

looks more like JLA than 'Brave and the bold' so maybe Icon will apear there.

then again i thought static would appear in 'The Brave and the Bold' given i read that someplace but he isnt. 🙄 so who knows.

Ok this could be good. I want to see Blood Syndicate again.

Icon taking on Superman? Meh, I don't know about that.

Nah mate Milestone is coming back.

You know what pisses me off is that they try to deny its about adding more minorities. Of course it is, but its not just about that. Hell I don't know why they have to feel ashamed about that.

Because it's not, they have plenty of minorities.

Its about having more recognizible properties to sell.

They are not recognizing the crossover "Worlds Collide" and they will be meeting the DC characters for the first time..Milestone locations will be here within DC..and DC thinks that will be organic.. 😆

I dont see this as a totally bad thing though....lets just keep Grant Morrison away from the whole idea....Between Grant and Didio....i can barely enjoy DC comics as it is....and some of these characters were really good...it would be a shame.

In mainstream DC comics? Obvoulsy thats one of the reasons why it was created.

DC and Marvel were both suspect of not utilizing their minority characters well back then. The same is not true now, the JLA, the JSA, Outsiders, Teen Titans, and Titans all have minorities on the team.

Firestorm just ended his own solo book a bit back. As did Atom. Vixen has her own mini going on, Cyborg does too. As does Cassandra Cain. So does El Diablo. Black Lightning has a mini coming. Blue Beetle has a current ongoing.

Of course, you might have recognized this if you actually picked up a comic and read it.

Please stop with the you-don't-read-comics crap I have a load of JLA and some JSA comics. I probably don't have as much DC as you have because I don't find it that interesting. Hell I used to collect The Maxx but you were still making stupid remarks about wiki, basically you're just a troublemaker.

Anyway I know that DC have minority characters but there still nothing wrong with adding some more. I find it highly unlikely that it has nothing to do with adding minrotities when thats why it was created. Things have improved but thers still nothing wrong with adding more as long as the stories are good. Also Shadow cabinet aren't exactly well know members of the milestone universe.

Just to add, just because there is more diversity doesn't mean there is enough.

According to their own figures the Marvel universe contains more than 5,000 characters, yet even a generous count reveals only 100 or so of these are black

The rest of the mainstream industry doesn’t fair much better.

Thats just talking about the black characters, not to mention hispanic and asian. Yes the article does mention they have tried, which is why imn less concerned now, but im really not too impressed by the black characters in marvel I think it could be vastly improved in the mutant area.

What I want to know is if they have Dakota and the whole "Big Bang," did the bang actually happen? Or does the godwave account for all of the bangbabies they're going to be bringing in.

Yeah I was thinking what were they going to do with the big bang. They're probably going to change that line. Bang babies where like Milestones mutants.

so also have to relaize that they currently use way less then those 5000. i doubt unless you count really minor characters that they even use 1000. i think the minorty level is currently fine. theres 1 or more on every team depending on how big it is and thats pretty accurate.

when i said that i was refering to black characters. they do need more hispanic ones.

Well im not particlualry bothered right now, but there are still considerably less minorities, were not just talking about blacks. I don't think the current levels are fine in the X-part of the marvel universe. Last time I checked the only black person on Avengers is Cage.

Personally, I think the big bang was one of the most interesting aspects of the Milestone universe.
