I was actually questioning anyone who thinks Obama's plans represent anything close to socialism or real wealth redistribution.

If you aren't saying Obama's plans are socialist or represent real wage redistribution, then that was not addressed to you.

Socialism was mentioned at least in the post 2 before mine 😉

So how does everyone feel about giving 400 billion dollars to people who pay no taxes?

I was unaware it was only the rich that used banks in this country and defaulted on mortgages..I guess only the rich depend on IRA's as well that are tired into the mortgages.

And well you tell me how you feel..good old Obama supported the bailout...or does he support the rich over the poor now?

Nevermind. Found your link. They're correct, however you are lying/incorrect when you say they pay no taxes. The link, and the segment you highlighted said INCOME TAX. There are other taxes people pay who don't pay income tax. Payroll tax is a tax every worker pays, period. So they are paying taxes, unless you think payroll tax isn't a tax.

Still..why are we just giving them money if they are working a job..why am I paying income taxes and payroll taxes and getting nothing back while they pay no income taxes and get money back.

They refer to it as "cuts in payroll tax". they pay no income tax and now their payroll tax is getting cut..and the people receiving these benefits already contribute nothing in comparison to other people now they will be paying EVEN LESS, if this is even possible. As well as recieving all the benefits of Obamas new social programs like UHC while contributing nothing.

Obama's tax plan is fair, not socialist- fair.

But to be quite honest, capitalism isn't about fair.
