Cloverfield videogame

Paramount confirms that there is a Cloverfield videogame in the works.
Unfortunately, Paramount didn't give any details about the game, only that it's being developed.

Rumors say that it will be a first person and the game will have three story lines.

1) You play as the teenagers who are trying to rescue their friend while a giant monster attacks manhatten.

2) You play as the monster and you'll mostly just demolish things.

3) You play as the U.S. soldiers that are trying to kill the monster.

It is unknown which platform(s) the game will go on.

More rumors say that the game maybe released late 2008 or early 2009.

What do you guys think?

Note: No this aint the Grayshot game people are talking about.

I heard about this months ago and I really hope it's good. They should probably just do something totally new and not follow the movie because if you do, what you can do will be very limited and repetitive.

Yea this could be really good and from those storylines mentioned sounds like something they did with the King Kong Game how that had you playing as Kong himself and one of the sailors.

That has to be the dumbest movie game idea ever.

The idea doesn't sound bad, but the fact they have to call it CLOVERFIELD and base it off of the movie sounds cheap

Unfortunately I don't because I found the info of Cloverfield being developed two months ago but I'm trying to find it again and hopefully I'll be able to put the article up.

It was unnecessary for him to make that post as well but alas, it's all in your hands.

I keep hearing that the Cloverfield game will be like Dead Rising because:

1) Things you find can be a weapon.

2) Your camera will run low and you have to charge it up.

3) You go into stores and get weapons or food.

Honestly I don't think that would be bad although picturing a Cloverfield game with a Dead Rising engine sounds retarded actually.

It wouldn't be a bad concept, but there should be a lot more to do than that to keep the game spicy and interesting throughout.
