Your favourite Cover Art

Hi all, didnt t see a thread like this , if there is one already forgive me..if there isnt than please share.

My favourite Cover - i always thought Apoc drawn right was really really menacing.

One of my all-time favorite ..

Yes, it's a cover from ancient history, but I still find it awe-inspiring (double-chin Watcher aside). Nobody drew the Surfer like Kirby, and this is (IMO) his best rendition ever.

Pretty much everything JamesJean has done for Fables is amazing. Especially the covers for the TPBs.

That cover is not all that great considering that Surfer has all these weird looking muscles on his left arm...

Anything by Kaare Andrews

eg.)

The man has made some rather original peices, and does anyone remember the book the cover is based off of?

That Magneto cover is pure class.

That's the Kirby paradox. His style was dynamic and powerful; it redefined comic-book art at the time. Yet for his characters (check out eg Thor, FF), he had a lousy knowledge of anatomy. I suspect Kirby wasn't a details guy. He went more for the overall impact; he wanted you to feel what you were seeing.

If he had used computers, I wonder how his work might've developed.
