This might be a bit cliche'.. but "Njosnavelin (Nothing Song)" by Sigur Ros. The song is beautiful and brings back certain memories.

Dredg - Matroshka (The Ornament)

It's been awhile since I've heard this song. Thanks for reminding be about it, even if you didn't mean to.

The Beatles - Let it Be
The Beatles - All You Need is Love
Madonna- Like a Prayer
Neil Young - Don't Let it Bring You Down
Rickie Lee Jones - On Saturday Afternoons in 1963

All you need is love? Our definitions of beautiful seem to differ.

I think of songs as beautiful beyond the song itself at face value. It's the circumstances surrounding them.

Yet you still chose The Beatles, what a shame.

Well I'm sorry to disappoint you.

YouTube video

Billy Joel - Through the Long Night
Ray Charles & Willie Nelson - Seven Spanish Angels
Elton John - Someone Saved My Life Tonight
The Eagles - What Do I Do With My Heart

Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt. It takes something special to take a song from a band like Nine Inch Nails and make it your own, but Mr. Cash did that. Sure people could see it as a cheesy cash-in but you'd have to have a heart of pure stone but not to be moved by that video and Cash's haunting tones. The bit that always gets to me is the line "Everyone I know goes away in the end..." and the video clip focuses on a picture of June, still sends shivers down my spine to this day.

I personally think he sounded like a zombie with a headache.

It was painful to watch for the wrong reasons.

No that's Radiohead. Personally I loved this version and this comes from someone who simply adores Nine Inch Nails, but hey only a small-person would argue this as anything more than opinion.

Misery Signals- Worlds and Dreams.... breathtaking
