Exactly. As in the previous hro high, Derek can influence components of physics, like mass, gravity, temperature, acceleration, etc. It's a very large concept, and the more he gets experienced, the more he can master. That goes to how far he understands the principles and formulas in which he chooses to learn.

I kinda remember your charactor but with the recent issues we've been having in unhosted I just need to take the preventive steps to protect the rp...

we have way too many of those running around the school as it is..3 so far

I don't reality wrap. I compress the space zone with tha time time and light spee variable so I'm able to skip from one place to another, or conceal myself. I'm not jumping into another reality.

I played with him when he was Derek at the begining of HH2. I know the char and the player. No need to be on your guard.

Mandos is very careful. If something upsets someone, he changes it. But his char is a one of a kind.

So no worries.

I assure you, Derek is not able to do anything magical or of the sort.
He is limited by the variables inside the laws of physics, so he cannot play with anything ''unnatural''.

And for the other non-believer, no I believe it is not reality warping.

The power does sound unstoppable, does it? Maybe it is... hehehe.
But I counter-balance it with weakness. He has no apparent physical strengh, and modifying variables is extremely costly in terms of energy... then again it depends on which variable he's influencing. I trust you can all leave that to my judgement.
