right. i thought i edited that.
All original heroes (Lance, Janet, Tori, Jordan, Ben, Andrew, Blayze, Tech, Simon, Katt and Jane) and current teachers (Bonnie, Harkin, James, etc...) abilities are at a futher level than that of the students. This means that some of the things I posted that are not availiable to the students can be demostrated by some of the teachers. Jane is faster than any quick speed student; Harkin, Ben and Lance can teleport by magical means; etc...
its really early. ill make myself more clear and detailed later today. goodnight.

This is for everyone. It's just some general rules to allow for a more fair RP. I am willing to be flexible. But all requests must be PMed to me:If your character dosen't have teleportation in a CS (character sheet), you CAN'T
use it. Also, student-teleporters can no longer teleport to where everyone else is because; 1) You are a student. That means you are still learning and developing this power. It would be inconsistant for a character to just jump from one place to another. 2) Unless stated otherwise, you do not have the power to sense another's location. If you were for some reason left behind and you're not within eye sight or do not know the location of who you want to get to and if it's outside of your character's capability, there is no way of teleporting to them.Magic users, your powers don't give you right to auto fix a battle or problem. So I don't want to see any 1-4 line auto fix (albeit I've never seen that before.) Also, more powerful spells would naturally take time to cast and go into effect seeing as certain spells require ingredients and have certain processes in casting them. Student-magic user, you are in training. This means that you DO NOT start off powerful and able to complicated things that do not fit in with your learning how to control or better your powers. Also, your powers do not make you immune to psychics. Benjamin is highly resistant to telepathy but more powerful or skilled TP users can affect him.
Telepaths, you do not automatically know what someone is thinking. You might catch a small part of it (by reading a helpful post or PMing the poster and asking permission) and you can rarely hear a full thought but you can't out rightly know what another character is thinking. This is only for the sake of posting. If thoughts were automatically known, direct acts by other posters could be rendered obsolete. And where is the fairness in that😬
Speedsters, you can't just zip in and around a battle for a auto win all the time. There will be no "50 punch combos" and things of the such. I also don't want to see you dodging every form of attack. Of course you would shine in a physical battle against a non-speedy opponent, but someone who has TK would easily and quickly end that fight.
And what is a pet peeve of mine is the fact that every character seems to have god-like durability. WHAT??? There would be no point in playing if no one was able to get seriously injured. Any objections to this? No one is without weeknesses and no one is invincible.
Also understand that some powers or shear amount of power is just to great to give a person right off the back. You have to work on your powers as students. Develop your characters. Give your character a background.
NOTE: All teachers and Heroes (not including Strike Force) are more advanced with their powers seeing that they are more experienced in the use of them. Lance, Janet, Tori, Andrew, Simon, Ben, Katt, Jane, Blayze, Tech, Jordan, Bonnie, Harkin, James and all other heroes/teachers are capable of of most things that the sudents are not. Although, they are still in training and are still learning and discovering new things about their respective abilities. So if you see a teacher do something that I stated can't be done, it is because they are more experienced than the students.
I also want to make a note that ALL OCC will be limited to just this thread. If things get too personal, take it to PM. If I have to ask anyone to simmer down more than twice, I do not have a problem ignoring your in game posts for a undefined amount of time.
If we all follow these guidelines, we can make this one of the best RPs around. If anyone has any questions, suggestions, concerns or complaints, please feel free to PM me.
~These guidelines will change often seeing as how people will continuosly join and leave and you guys make valid points or realize something that I missed.

Story: June 23, 1995 was the date Maran was born in the small village of Venick. His mother was Jasmine Yuko, and his father was Alleen Yuko. Maran's father dissapeared deep in the forest while searching for a rare herb. Alleen was a doctor in the village. He was blessed with the special power of healing and was extremely smart. For 10 years Maran lived with his mother before she passed away from a rare disease. Maran was left to live in the orphanage with other orphans. Each orphan had a daily chore and Maran had to tend to the plants in the yard and mow the lawn. He noticed the sun seemed to shine really bright while he was working and when he watered the plants he noticed yellow and blue energy flows through them. Pretty soon, Maran noticed them with animals, and other people also. He didnt know what was going on, but he dared not tell anyone, scared as to what they might think. 3 more years passed and one day while watering more plants he started to focus on one. He stared at it looking at the energy flow through the stem into the wilt, and recycle itself. He reached out to touch it and before his hand reached the plant, the blue and yellow energy started to come towards him, flowing through his hand and into his body. Maran could feel energy in his body. He felt more alive and his stamina felt almost infinite. Maran looked around and made sure nobody was watching, but he didnt see the orphanage "snitch" in the corner( 😂 ). Maran thought maybe he could release this energy somehow, so with his right hand he held it outwards and without control he fired a beam of blue energy. Maran was shocked and surprised, but he was also kind of excited. The "snitch" ran and told the caretakers. Immediately the caretakers came outside and asked Maran for a demonstration of what he just did. Maran, thinking he was going to be praised, tried it again. The caretakers gasped and immediately thought the boy was diseased and alienate him. Maran, now on his own didnt know what to do until he met his mentor, Herum. Herum was an elder who loved helping children with problems, and of course Maran explained to Herum. Herum didnt seem the least bit shocked. He instructed Maran to follow him into a clearing in the woods where they could be alone. Herum started absorbing energies from trees, grass and other living things. He started letting out different attacks and techniques in rapid succesion making Maran speechless. From there on Maran stayed and studied under Herum for 2 years. Herum eventually died of old age. He left Maran a shoebox filled with things he wanted to give him after he passed. Theres was techniques he had yet to learn and a pamphlet. The pamphlet read Hero High on the front. Maran opened it up to see a ticket fall out to the location of Hero High. He instantly knew what Herum wanted him to do after seeing the ticket and reading the pamphlet. Go to Hero High. Maran said goodbye to Venick forever as there was nothing left for him there, and headed to Hero High. Hopefully this place can change his life for the better...

How's that?
I'm getting tired of going back 60 pages to get to my Cs, so I'll repost it.
Name: François D'Toussaint
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Alignment: Good
Weight: 190 lbs
Height: 6"2'
Martial Status: None
Occupations: Street performer
Orientation: Straight
Species (Type) : Human
Powers: Mental constructs. With proper concentration (he's good enough with it currently that it doesn't take much) he can create solid, temporary objects with his mind. These objects appear as distortions in space, can have texture if he's feeling prudent, and he can control them as if using telekinesis. This power is very versatile because once he has created one thing, he can instantly shift its shape, or split it into other things, all with just a thought. The objects are strong, but not unbreakable, and if hit hard enough they will shatter. François can reform them from the pieces, but mostly just lets them disappear, preferring to create anew.
Fighting Styles: His power is, as stated above, very versatile, and can also be powerful, allowing him to attack his opponent in a variety of ways, at a variety of angles.
Gadgets/weapons (optional): He uses constructs for weapons mostly.
Appearance: Muscular but slim, the body of an acrobat, with short black hair. He has pale skin and bright blue eyes.
Favorite food: Green apples.
Hobby: Acrobatics
Race (White, Black, Hispanic, Ect.) : White.
Relatives: He has faint memories of parents and a ton of siblings, but the only one he remembers well is his eldest brother, whom he accidentally killed when he was younger.
Personality(Including Likes and Dislikes) : Calm and basically carefree, always laughing and having fun, but sometimes gets momentarily sad, staring off into the distance. He likes peace and quiet, and when people get along. He doesn't like violence, though he will partake when necessary, and also doesn't like loud noises of any kind.
Story: He was born to a very poor Parisian couple, the third of 8 children. He was the only one of the children with powers, and all of his siblings were jealous, especially his eldest brother. One day, when François was about 12, his drunken brother drove him far into the slums of the city and tried to shoot him, thinking of him as a freak that needed to be put down. But, to his sudden great surprise, François reflexively shot a construct spike through his head, killing him instantly.
The young frenchman was devastated with what he had done. Not only could he not find his way home, he felt he couldn't face his parents and tell them he had killed his brother. He decided then and there to start a new life on the Paris streets, using his powers and his growing fondness of acrobatics to make money as a street performer. He became friends with an American woman named Susie, who basically took him in, giving him a place to stay and teaching him English. He is mostly fluent, but is known to slip back into French every once in a while. Eventually he heard of the famous Hero High, and decided to seek it out, thinking he could learn to use his powers to help people.
Allies: he has a ton of contacts in the Paris underground
Enemies: honestly... none. No one that I would classify as an "enemy."

Originally posted by starryknightit wasn't directed towards her. it was in general. but i thought that she was a magical character and that was one of her basic powers from the get go. your character is allowed to teleport, lets just have it at the basic line-of-sight level for now.
are we going to be able to update powers? my character learned abilities at the school (training with Harkin and such) on the teleporting issue ,(which its obviously directed toward Sam)i really dont want to give up but i guess if its a problem =/
and everyone is allowed to update their characters. i just would like to see it occur as a natural thing. like with actual training and experience gained. no posts that say "so-n-so trained with so-n-so for a period of time and now was able to blahdiblah.
and im totally about to double post. well maybe not. i might. just don't kick my head off, Mod.

Well I solved your double posting problem!
Also I am going to wait until you guys defeat this Pintar guy to post, because it would seem might random to just jump in now.
