Personality: Fiercely protective of his close friends and family, funny, highly intelligent, clumsy, energetic, anxious, serious when the time calls for it.
Story: Benjamin has been a student at Hero High for as long as his powers were active. He was the editor of the school newspaper, he was on the football team and he was in the Heroes in training class. Before he gained the Hero status, he was the main student to sneak away on their missions.
This was how he found Andy. A group of mutated villain were terrorizing the downtown area and the Heroes went to preform their duty. Ben had went down there to get the full story for the paper when he saw a little boy being attacked by one of the bad guys. He used his powers to save the boy and was complimented on it by the Heroes. Ben then took the boy back to the school after the boy said his parents were killed in the attack. He later found out that Andy could see the future.
Then in another attack, this time led by aliens who wanted to destroy everyone with powers on earth, his best friend Simon, who was from another dimension, took half of the school to his home world leaving the school vastly unpopulated causing it to be destroyed.
That was followed by Ben finding out about his own heritage. Never knowing his father, he was approached by a man claiming to be his uncle, calling himself Greywolf. He told Ben that he comes form a long line of powerful Shamans and that he would have to be trained in the use of his magic or he would lose his powers. But because Ben didn't know this, he decided to let fellow teammate and Hero, Lance train him. he still has much to learn but is a quick study.

Lets see. MadMel provided an assignment for the biology class:

He then provided a sequel for when the writing assignment was done:
anyone whos done can go to the lab
And I admit the sequel assignment was rather dim, but remember that this is Unhosted Role Plays, which leads to the fact that you do not have to have 'direct words' from the teacher what you are supposed to do. You can just go to the lab and analyze various samples, or follow instructions that you can pretend that the teacher has already written down, etc. etc.
I do not misstrust your ability to control a character. However, to me, the mere knowledge of having someone in the roleplay that can take everyone out whenever so is desired (Even if it never will be desired) kinda makes the other characters feel useless. Having a "Jean" in the roleplay would easily result in her being the only one required to deal with hostile activity. Even if an army attacked the school, with a Phoenix Jean around, it'd be dust within a minute 😛
