I'll be studying in London, so it's going to prove quite expensive. My loan for the first year alone is like £10,000.

Are you studying in Scotland? Don't you get a grant if you study there if you're Scottish?

Yeah, that is gonna be dear 🙁

I don't have a loan but in Scotland, Scottish students' tuition fees are funded by an organisation called SAAS. It's called a graduate endowment and we don't pay it back when we graduate (🙂) since the SNP made that decision last year. We just apply for the funding each year of study and it's as easy as that. Loans obviously need to be paid back though.

Nice, I wish I had that.

I was thinking about going to Edinburgh university at one stage, but eventually changed my mind, because it would take so long to get back to Devon.

It is certainly great to have to worry about that when graduating.

I'm doing Java programming, a writing class, Cisco Routing, Information Security, and a 2 hours class called "Select Tech Topics". That last one is where I have to give presentations on IT topics and I have to help plan and setup the LAN parties our group participates in. 😐

14 hours of classes, I work full time, and I work out 3-4 days a week. No, I don't complain about my time being taken up...I still have plenty of time.

It's long, at times there's an extra 30 to 1 hr long lab that several students have to do.

Getting my classes next week in the mail. 🙂

I have half my classes.

- European integration
- History, economy and political situation of China.
- History, economy and political situation of Mexico
- Advanced biochemestry (free choice)
- Position of independant states near Rusiian border

The next batch will be a mix of politics and physics, compared to this history chemistry one. With more physics 😄

My schedule is raping me. @_@

Taking a four hour class in addition to my regular six-hour School schedule, six days a week, is just too much...

I suppose I'll get used to it.
