Skiv nodded and they all vanished in a cloud of blue dust and reappered in Harkin's room. Harkin was meditating so Skiv figured he'd wait awhile to say anything.
"So here we are, now we'll just wait a little while longer for her to get out of meditation." Skiv then walked over by where she was meditating and sat down beside her.
Derek turned arround to face Jason and Janet.
''Thank you for your help, no matter what your motives are. With Raphael and the policemen arround, we cannot afford to cause trouble or battles. I would feel that great consequences would derive from it.''
Turning arround, he started to walk slowly to the end of the school, in the archery range, shooting a couple of arrows he imbued with control over physical elements.
Tsecti looked at him with expressinless eyes, he figured he'll do a small attack to see what this man is packing. He raised his hand at it began to glow, large chunks of the ground began to lift in the air. He then flicked his wrist forward and about 20 large chunks of the ground were hurled directly at him at high speed.
tsecti formed a snister smile showing his large dagger like teeth. He ran over to the other side of Derek at speeds that a normal human would see as a quick blur, then raised his right leg off the ground and slammed it into the ground. Large rectangular portion of the ground raised up from under Derek striking him in the chest.
"Was just a quick test, i had to see if you were atleast of average ability"
Derek received the ground in his chest, pain starting to get to him. He had managed to slow the ground so that when it hit him, he only felt as if someone had punched him.
''I see, Derek added, well I hope I am up for the challenge.
Quickly building energy inside him, he let out a powerful cosmic inflation blast, eating everything next to him with universal energy, including Tetsci. This powerful bang caused damage, but mostly deranged one's potential of energy inside him.
When the cloud of dust vanished, Derek was a few meters away, creating his protective temporal distortion arround him.
''It would seem I can hold my grounds, no?''
As the dust cleared Tsecti was still standing only his arms were over his face, once it cleared he lowered them again you could see little scracthes on many of his scales.
"That hurt, but i'm use to pain" he pulled his arms back into chamber postion at his side, he lunged his right leg forwardand shot his palms forward. Lighting bolts surrounded by a swilring flame shot out at Derek; once they left his palms he quickly lept into the air and opened his mouth as wide as he could. From his mouth a beam of His body's pure magical energy shot out downwards at Derek, it would hit only a few moments after the flaming lightning.
Derek reacted fast, dissipating the flames arround the lightning with his elemental control.
Applying an electromagnetic field on the trajectoryof the lightning, he was able to stop its movement before it reached him, as it dissipated in the air, stagnant.
Looking up, he saw the beam of energy coming at him. He had no time to move, and he didn't know if that energy could pierce his temporal distortion or not.
Gathering nucleonic energy from the elements arround, by breaking their atoms, he let out a nuclear blast directly on Tetsci's energy, colliding from just a few meters of his face.
''Tetsci, you will not win this''.
Tsecti landed back in his original postion
"Thats what you think," His hands still glowing as then tightened his hand and moved his hand towards each other, causing a giant pair of demonic hands to appear from the ground and the began to squeze the Temporal shield attempting to crush it. His eyes flashed blue as they shot blasts of heat from them attempted to further weaken the shield.
(just to make it clear, he does things like the shooting beams from his eyes and mouth by manipulating his body's magical energy)

Skiv turned to face Dosu and shook his head"and why do you care what she would have wanted" he laughed
Derek had the confirmation. Tetsci's energy was not immune to the temporal barrier, but the contrary was also true, and so he had to be careful.
Lifting the ground in front of him, it blocked the energy rays from hitting Derek's shield, causing an explosion of mass proportion. It created a no seeing zone, and Derek wanted to take advantage of that.
He used his temporal drift to move out of the temporal distortion shield. He maintained it up to keep Tetsci's demonic hands pressing it down, making him think he was still there on the other side of the dust.
He came back to his form right behind Tetsci.
''It's a battle you cannot win'' Derek whispered to his ears. ''But I will let you draw back if so you wish'' he added with a smile.
Pressing his hand on Tetsci's back, he sided Tetsci's body energy composure, before applying is vaccum energy on him, stiffening the muscles. He was absorbing Tetsci's very own energy.
(Not indefinately, it just renders Tetsci's level energy lower in his body. It is not absorbed by Derek. Vacuum energy is a physical principle that means the energy is dissipating).
Derek sighted Dosu. He heard the name of Vixen.
''Shame for you Dosu, that you would come so low by events. And would you think Vixen would have wanted that? But it is not too late to change your ways, you will see''.
Tsecti growled as he felt his magical energy being absorbed.
"Smart take away my power source so that i cant do much to you, the only problem with that is that i am also powerful physically"
Tsecti moved his tail over and grabbed Derek's leg pulling him down to the ground. He then raised his arms and closed both fists and started bringing them down towards him. He was going to attempt to smash him with his super strength.
