HERO HIGH 2 - The Mystery

Skiv held her tighter and began stroking her hair back as he rested her head on his shoulder.

"I know theres something I can do. ...I can get Tsecti he has a solution to everything" his voice was soft and sincere

Harkin laughed a bit and kissed his cheek. "You're so sweet... But I dont want to bother him.. He might make me promise another child for him to use as a weapon." She rubbed her eyes and stood up. "Thank you love."

Skiv didn't understand what why she was so reluctent for help, he began to freak out.

"Why are you accepting of this if my people died there be a universal man hunt from me and Tsecti" he yelled as he shook her lighty

She frowned and her eyes widened when he shook her. "Skiv my people were a dying breed. All of the people I knew would have died long ago from natural causes... Besides.. Fear who the man might be that killed my people."

Skiv stopped shaking her, and looked down
"It doesn't matter he must pay, and you hva no need to fear this man or what ever it is. We can bring him down" he looked back up at her

She bit her lip and looked up at him quietly, taking in each word that he said and carefully thinking it over. "Skiv... Please.. Just let me meditate on it for a while before we do anything." She smiled faintly and caressed his cheek. "Ok?"

Skiv was about tp speak when he looked closley at her face and noticed small things like biting her lip and pausing so much.

"Why do you seem more nervous then you do scared?" He let go of her and raised an eyebrow

She raised a brow and forced a smile. "Me? I'm not nervouse or scared... I'm just doing what I feel is right."

Skiv sighed

well her behavior is obviosuly one of the two he the placed his hand on her shoulder

"What exactly do you feel is right?"

She shrugged and shook her head. "What ever path I feel like following at the moment." She smiled and took his hand from her shoulder. "Just let me think on it love before we go to your master ok?"

Skiv sighed and decided not to directly respond.

"Well if don't want him we can do this ourselves, just me and you we can find him and bring justice or whatever without Tsecti."

She sighed heavily and closed her eyes. "Love listen to the words I am about to say." She opened her eyes and bit her lip as she carefully thought how to word this sentence. "I dont want to search for the one who did this... I think I know how it was but I dare not say it... So.. I'm going to meditate on the matter and see what I should do about it.. But for now, not a word... Speak to Tsecti if you wish, but other wise do not let it slip."

Skiv stood still staring at her, he nodded

"Fine but first atleast tell me the name of this man"

She frowned and nibbled on her lip. "What man?"

Skiv tilted his head to the side and began to scrath the back of his neck

"Umm, ok what is the name of this person then since its not a man?"

She smiled and shook her head. "Love I dont know who it was... Why do you think I do? If I knew who I was I would have told you by now because you're doing a pretty damn good job of interrogating me. I mean its almost like you dont trust me, so I would have just come out and said it and right now I'm so nervous that I'm rambling just to stall until you finally do something to me to get the truth out of me. But I know you wouldnt do that..." She took a few breaths after finishing that statement. "... Would you?"

Skiv had a confuesed look on his face

"What, i though since you said you think you know how it was done that you had a good idea on likly suspects. ... you're the one going on a rant"

She smiled and looked down at the ground. "Yeah I guess I am... What were we talking about?" She smiled sweetly up at him, trying hard to change the subject.

Skiv rolled his eyes and sighed

"Fine i'll let you meditate on it. Would you like me to take you back to the Temple so you can"
