DJ eyes shifted over to Andrew."Is that so?"He now knew Andrew could sense him but the true question was how."Soooo how is it that you can sense me?Can you see the path? The symbols too?Maybe you can see the auras also.Like the ones placed on every experiment in this room"
"everything" andrew answered.."as long as you give off energy i can sense you, no matter how hard to try and hide yourself...but tell me...why are you trying to hide?? if you dont want to attend class the front gates are open.."
andrew paused.."but i sense your excitement about strikeforce..your heart sped up when lance was making the announcement, causing you to give out a tiny bit more energy..you want in? then stop hiding away..and remember, im not the only one who can find you.."

"will you two stop predicting my demise?" leon asked exasperated.."we'll see how confidant you are after this afternoon's combat practice.."
((SKIPPING AHEAD))
lunch had been mostly uneventful..two particularly rowdy students, who couldn't wait until the end of lunch to settle their differences, starting laying into each other..jane had stepped in and in less than a second the two boys had been bound, gagged and sent to separate detention rooms, but apart from that, the lunch break had been rather boring..leon was relieved when he heard the bell ring..he walked out into the large grounds between the lunch hall and the staff buildings..the statue of gilgamesh - the school's protector - loomed over leon, but he paid it no mind..he, like all students, thought the ancient warrior was just a statue..
leon performed some quick stretches, then suddenly thrust both arms forward, palms open..his target was a large, heavy practice ball, but despite its weight, the force of leon's shockwave sent it bouncing across the ground as though it was made of rubber..
"dont exert yourself" andrew's voice sounded..leon looked around..both andrew and jane were standing behind him..
"save your best stuff for tomorrow" jane added, smiling.."today is going to be a casual session - no regime..we'll just watch and help out where we can"..leon snorted..as long as andrew taught this class, he knew there was never going to be a non-casual combat class..however, he followed their advice, and his following shockwaves were smaller..he waited patiently for his friends to turn up...
