HERO HIGH 2 - The Mystery

Harkins eye twitched. This kid was lucky her powers were blocked. "You can't run in your sleep."

"And F.Y.I. I wasnt trying to get her pants. I was just being myself is all..."

Sam couldn't help it anymore, she busted up laughing. This kid had a death wish, trying the patients of two powerful woman.

Hunter turned to the laughing girl."Whats so funny?" Hunter smiled uncontrollably.

She raised a brow and slowly turned to face Sam. "Something funny? Get your butt over there and beat the crap out of him." She put her hand on Sams shoulder, sendingsome of her own energy into Sam.

Sam quickly straightened up, "Ma'am as you command!" She was still laughing getting into a karate fighting stances, he didn't want to use powers. "Get ready kid cause here I come!" She ran forward sending quick jabs not really trying so hard to hit him but to get into range for a head kick.

"Kid??" Hunter dodged every jab. He didnt want to use power against these two."What are you? A pet?"Hunter smiled some more...

She giggled not taking this fight seriously, she pushed Hunter with her forearm causing him to lose balance then hit him with a straight kick hitting him on the jaw. This kid can't fight without his powers I guess she frowned to herself.

Hunter held his jaw and laughed. *she must think she's doing something*. Hunter got up and vanished for a second only to appear behind her. " Hey your cute. What's your name?" Hunter hit her in the lower back.

"Oh you teleport too, well I'll tell you my name if you beat me." she laughed spinning around kicking him in the chest not putting too much force in it. "Oh come on are you going to fight me or be my punching bag?"

"I don't teleport. I'm just fast as he'll. And remember you asked for it!" Hunter took the hit like it was nothing. Hunter pulled out his glove and put it on. His aura leaked out. It was darker than ever. Hunter shot put his hand and bided the girl with dark aura so she couldn't move.

"You think I'm afraid of the dark" she laughed 'If only this kid knew' she smiled. Sam created a shield of light around her, then released a pulse of light breaking up the dark aura around her.

"You have powers of light? Interesting. " Hunter smiled. " I'm starting to like you.."

"But theres so much more to me," she smiled wickedly. she covered her she shot her hand forward releasing a volley of light energy balls at the kid. Sam's powers of light were just for healing she could use them to damage her enemies and she didn't really want to show this kid her other power if she didn't have to.

Hunter blocked the orbs with a blast of aura from his fist."Atleast tell me how old you are!"

"I'm not sure that matters but I'll be 17 tomorrow..." 'Thats right seven years ago the accident happened on my my tenth birthday my powers of darkness formed and wrecked my family' she thought to herself dropping her guard.

Hunter quickly jumped down and landed a knee in her gut..*That oughta did it.*"Hmm well I'll be 16 in a few months. I think its fair to say were done...So your name is???"

She doubled over cupping her stomach, her eyes began to glow red, the darkness seeped out of her like a mist. "For your sake Herkin will stop this fight before I kill you," she said with pure rage not sounding like her anymore. She suddenly vanished in a cloud of shadows, "lets she whose darkness is stronger!" She started losing control again stepping further into the darkness surrounding her mind, she really should have just took her loss gracefully but she really hated to lose.

Hunters eyes widened. " The hells going on?!" Hunter poured out his aura on his whole right arm just in case he needed to protect himself.
