HERO HIGH 2 - The Mystery

"So your speeding up?" Hunter ran faster still close behind jumpin from the roof to the ground. He then picked up speed slowly but surely and he raced past her just barely. He ran around the corner dust behind him. He was dodging rogue students and trees.

Zero laughed it was becoming fun to run at a fast pace, she went even faster, weaving in and out of students. She saw Andrew and some weird guy at the entrance but there was no time to say hi so she did a front flip over the two men at 200mph. She would be surprise if Hunter could do that at these speeds, her reflexes and muscles were genetically designed for this. Zero notice Hunter was falling behind, "Come on keep up I'm still holding back and I'm having way too much fun! she couldn't help but smile.

"and what are you two doing?" a voice asked zero and hunter..jane had appeared seemingly from nowhere...she kept in front of zero easily, even thought she was running backwards, such was her speed.."having a race are we?"

andrew saw zero flash past..and an instant later he saw jane blitz after her..he shrugged..lockdown was over, so the students were free to run around...his wife, on the other hand, looked like she was goofing off..

leon looked at vixen and weston, shaking his head slightly...he supposed, what with all the other threats the school had faced so far, a trivial matter like teenage drug abuse seemed harmless..he sighed and went back to the VR simulation for some peace and quiet..

Hunter grinned. " And Im a showoff... Oh that's right" Hunter was running toward a group of students. He stopped turned and did a backflip remembering to land on his heels and caught up to Zero turning his body around. He ducked under two guys holding a cart of books and was still by Zero and Janet.

*Who said it was him?* Seven voices arched into the open space at once. *Maybe Issac would remember us. After all he did kill us.So

"haha...so its the psychic" james said, unphazed by the voices.."mr issac did warn us about you - he was going to make this place telepath-proof, like himself, but i guess he hasnt gotten around to it yet.."

Harkin was lounging in the grass with Thyme standing over her. Every here and there Thyme would wander over and give her a sniff, just to let her know he's watching her.

james felt the loss of one of his men instantly "the hell!?" he exclaimed, looking around..there was no others here, except for his own men, and he knew they weren't responsible..his eyes fell on lucian..."the f*ck did you just do boy!?" he shouted, throwing a fireball at the cage in anger..it impacted, rattling the cage, but the flames did not touch lucian..

"i liked my idea better" liam sulked, but looking pleased all the same that he knew lucian was alive, at least..
"well ill admit, it had merrit" leon said, looking over at the monkey boy.."but you cant argue with a telepath.."
"guess not..."

weston looked around the jet,
"oh unclench, it was a joke" he told everyone with a low voice. james sat nervously in his seat, he was worried that janet would fail. he really didn't want a dead kid on his hands

Zero laughed even more, "So another has entered the race." She had no choice but to ignore Andrew, she was going to fast to reply. "Well I better kick it up," her body began to morph slightly she looked more cheetah then before, her tail and ears even changed to the color of a cheetah. she reached 350mph shapes begun to blur she could only see seconds ahead off her and moved when a blur was in her sight because that blur was most likely a person. She crossed the finish line leaving Hunter behind, "Yes I won!" she yelled or at least tried to. "Oh shit stop!"

Hunter jumped up and landed to stop himself. "Guess I lost, but I let you win. Wait where are you going?" Hunter ran after Zero having to run faster than usual, but he could handle it. He grabbed Zero by the shirt before she was seconds away from hitting a tree. "That would have left a nasty mess. " Hunter smirked.

Zero's shirt ripped she spun to dodge the tree, then tumbled into the foot ball field she wasn't moving.

----Sam---

Sam saw a flash enter the foot ball field then crash into the ground picking up dust, she ran over to it to see what had happened. The dust cleared and she was able to she Zero morphing back to her normal state, "Zero!" Sam cried. Sam worked fast she hands over the girls body glowing yellow. "Come on damn it."

Hunter walkedover to Zero. "This is what you get for showing off. And you said I was the showoff. You remind me of a little sister I never wanted. " Hunter smiled. "Is she breathing Sam?"

"out of the way" jane said, putting zero upright and checking her pulse..she disappeared and reappeared instantly, having run over to the medical part of the school and bringing back a healing device..she place it on zero's head and turned it on..

"Hope she makes it..." Zero was starting to grow on Hunter like a wart that he never wanted. Just a few days ago he would have let her meet her demise. But he actually might have saved her.

Sam instantly threw the device off, "I got this, your device wont heal her fast enough." She pure more energy into Zero, energy from the earth was rising in to Sam mixing with her light powers, her marks began to glow like Harkins.
Zero opened her eyes looking around the to see the people around her. "Hey Hunter, come closer," she said in a whisper.

Hunter leaned in. "I hope your not gonna hit me because I did nothing wrong..." Hunter expected the worse but he wanted to see how things would unfold.

jane sighed and zipped away, now that everything seemed ok...*yet another student who thinks they know everything..she's already developing harkin's attitude* she thought, rushing back to the medical room to return the healing device, before remembering she had to prepare for tomorrow's lessons..she ran back to her office and started working on a new lesson draft..

Zero smiled, "Why the hell are you talking remember our bet?" she giggled a little before getting up. she stumbled a little but Sam helped her balance. "You should rest a bit that was a nasty fall," Sam told Zero. "Nah I'm good, I think I'm going to have a good week here, stick boy can't go a minute with out talking and its going to kill him" Zero grind evilly. "Or you can take my dare, either way you going to die," she laughed.

Hunter smiled looking at Zero. He shook his head signaling he'd do the dare. Hunter couldn't stand to not talk. He loved talking and it was natural of him.
