Takion Vs. Galactus

The Takion vs. IB thread makes me wonder what people would say about this.

The IB has to find an opposite to beat someone. That is a glaring weakness.

But he's the opposite of Galactus, and he's nearly is equal. He can hang out with the Big G.

No, that's not true. Finding the opposite is just ONE of his powers, he can also just beat the shit out of people with cosmic powers etc.

He's not Big G level. Not in my book. I just don't see the feats to suggest that.

tyrant that fought Galactus on panel for pages was depowered. Galactus can vaporize star systems while weak. he didn't one shot tyrant why? At any rate, the IB is not big g's equal.

I'm... i'm just stunned. So apparently being shown on-panel to be equal in battle is not sufficient evidence to say that have about equivalent power?

I doubt it.

He's had trouble fending off a bunch of metahumans and got blasted by his own UN.

Not to mention he got beaten by Dark Phoenix 1-on-1.
And it doesn't matter if he was hungry or not, he should still be more powerful than any cosmic entity, since he's part of the Triumvirate.

Ok, I admit I don't read FF comics that much, so I have no idea what was going on.
I just saw some scans in the recent issue, he got hostaged by somebody.
I can bet that's the original Galactus.
