Be that as it may, I dont hold a strong opinion for either argument since im open to either possibility.

Someone's watching too much "MythBusters" on Discovery or is it the Science channel. One of those. My opinion, I'd say it's a 50/50 issue meaning that there's a 50% chance that they did land on the moon and a 50% chance that it was all a hoax.

Yea, that was worded wrong. My bad.
i meant to say that there may've been a landing but i remain skeptical.
(i should'a just said that)
Originally posted by FistOfThe NorthWhat would be the reason for it? You could debate the foot print or the moon walk because there are many other variables such as viewing of the “walk” or that the “sand” that they used is different but neither of these were used as “absolute” proof because they are subject to speculation. There are a myriad of different “theories” that “prove” that it was faked but almost everyone can easily be debunked, the flag and lighting were always the main proof that the conspiracy groups used.

I still remain skeptical, to me it isnt as definitive as dropping a ball and it hitting the ground. It was a good episode, I enjoyed and by the looks of things so did everyone else...lets just leave it at that.

I think it’d be highly silly of me to think the landing was faked just because someone else said so. A silly as you’re suggesting that.
But I remain skeptical because I haven’t seen hardcore evidence that suggest we went to the moon beside what the Buzz A, the government, and some choppy black and white video have told and shown us. Also the governments’ historical shadiness has a lot to do with my skepticism. I get the feeling that the government keeps quiet about a lot in order to avoid “assumed” mass hysteria. They’re a very secretive and clandestine organization veiled by things like social programs and goodwill politics. But then again we did have a space program back then and there was an actual launch but still..
I mean, we have telescopes that can look into Andromeda, which is 2.5 million light years away, and clearly see its shape and the shapes of the stars in them and how they move, and she’s 2.5 million miles away. That’s beyond far. Yet we haven’t utilized those same telescopes to look and see if human debris or maybe the flag was still standing there. And we landed on the light side of the moon (the area always facing earth at all times.) Here’s the kicker: the moon’s only 238,857 miles away. A lot closer than Andromeda.
But there was a launch or take off that couldn’t been fake cause it was a live event that people attended and witnessed with their own eyes but still..
Look i’m not saying it didn’t happen and I’m not saying it happened.

another logical fallacy the conspiracy theorists use alot...locating the flag has absolutely nothing to do with power and everything to do with resolution
to get resolution you need a wide lens...the widest in the world is the Keck telescop in Hawaii...it's 10m...the hubble lens is 2.4m...
to get the resolution to see the flag on the moon from an earth based on orbit based telescope you would need a lens 200m in diameter
in order to resolve the lunar rover you would need a lens 75m in diameter
so to say that if it was there we could see it with telescopes is complete nonsense
i really do wish people would bother finding out this stuff before posting

I agree, most people are to lazy to attempt anything that elaborate...unless we are dealing with Thanos and batman level dudes here.

I really think conspiracy theorists in general and outlandish conspiracy theorists specificly (like this topic) just need a hobby. They have too much time on their hands with nothing to do so their mind wanders into "what if?" mode. "what if aliens are controlling the world, all 120+ governments?"........."what if there are timetravellers among us who have journeyed back to guide human evolution?"........"what if the timetravellers and aliens are one in the same?".......
I think creating conspiracies IS their hobby.
