Actually, with the exception of the "insults" (as you put it) towards her daughter being pregnant and her religious rants when speaking politically from the Left, there are many factors of hers to criticize.
But the Right has a vaginal seepage with her being criticized based solely on the grounds of 'she's a woman, mother of five and has a mentally retarded baby'. Which is just shit, she's a politician running for a very high office, the rules should apply to her just the same.

what about the issue of charging rape victims for their own rape kits. I mean yeah, palin wasn't/isn't the only mayor to have done that but isn't that just completely immoral and traitorous to her own gender? Especially in small town Alaska where their exists a very real and widespread culture of rape almost as a right of passage (if you don't believe me, talk to anyone that's grown up in alaska or just take a look at national crime statistics). I mean this just makes me think of a republican/libertarian wet dream of a national policy of privatized police forces where just like medicine, everybody has to pay for crime insurance because every time you have to call the police or are victimized, they send you an overbloated itemized bill charging you for any investigative procedures they've conducted.
And to anyone that says "Oh, she's just the VP. She doesn't need knowledge or intelligence or experience cause she's not the president", John McCain, all of his toxic elements aside, is in his 70's, is a former POW, and has had cancer four times making him a bigger walking corpse than dick "the dick" cheney. This makes Palin literally a heartbeat (or maybe a deadbeat) away from the presidency. I guess my point is that she's all flash and whatever substance she does have is horrifically nauseating.
