So like, I'm playing through CoD 4.And, like, does the enemy respawn... forever?
If so, which seems like it is because I've stormed a room only to be killed by a guy who I had already killed a minute earlier for the umpteenth time, I don't see how this is "better than H3 and GoW combined!"
the single player game is short...mildly entertaining...but generally not the point in getting the game

I actually liked CoD4's campaign. Especially the Sniper missions. However the infinite respawning enemies is annoying. Especially on the hardest difficulty.
They only respawn infinitely if you sit in one spot trying to shoot them all day. You're meant to move forward to activate the invisible trigger that will stop them spawning, CoD 2 is exactly the same.

Doesn't excuse it from being gay. You're not supposed to always press forward. you should be able to chill in cover if you want. Eventually I stpped fighting altogether. I just sprinted to the next building and hid until my nigh invincible allies killed them all. I finished the last few missions with barely any kills at all.
Is that how an FPS is supposed to work?
