Cloning is the creation of new life from a genetic sample instead of the 'old-fashioned way'; they still have to grow normally.

Okay, so they're building a lifeform from scratch and putting it together as they please... so they could theoretically still make a fully-grown duplicate, if they so chose.

They'd need incredibly precise details for that.

With the crowds still at the city park- where the Senators are already starting to make new deals to match th adjusted situation- suddenly all is quiet around the Basilica. Andro, you dash to the grand front entrance, where you are met by the reception guards.

But to your surprise, they simply beckon you through.

"The timing was wrong, Accoriding to Mirani's original prognosis of Sienar's condition, he needed threatment every nine months to remain stable. But Sienar's last treatment was only six months ago! He was meant to be here to be treated so he could remain in control for the conference and during his investiture, but there was no need for it! And nothing in Mirani's notes suggested some change in that treatment schedule, or acceleration of the disease. Something was wrong, and the answer had to be in those encrypted files. Surprised at the unexpected lack of confrontation, Andro is nontheless releived that there didn't have to be a hassle at the entrance. He figures Seinar is expecting Andro to come charging after him, but he's wrong. Andro is single-mindedly determined to find Kathya or her remains. Now. He moves with all haste, headed straight for her quarters.

"Go on, then, what have you found?" Jelena asks, hurriedly. "What was in those files?"

As it is outside, it is very quiet in here, Andro. You hurry up the stairways and ramps to the upper levels of the Basilica, not seeing anyone around at all, worshiopper,senator, tourist or priest. Strange.
