What is the strongest emotion and why?

I think that terror can be the strongest emotion because mere fear can be controlled just as a person can curb their hate and love.

Terror is the loss of control all together. You are so horrified in terror that you can lose reason for your thoughts or actions.

whatever u feel the strongest. there i no upper limit on feeling so this is question is subjective.

Pain If theres very much of it, most wouldnt fear death

I would say love because it takes alot out of people and people do and go crazy over it.;

I got a headache. and i want to sleep

^hope you feel better.I just got over having a really bad one for three days.

Sadness, because it's love and hate at the same time.

the after sex emotion or emotions (whether you are satisfied by your sex partner or not) those are strong emotions.

you can be happy (CUZ IT FELT SO GOOD...)

you can be disappointed (the sex partner finished too early before reaching your climax)

you can feel guilty (I just cheated/ she/he just cheated with his/her spouse with me)

you can feel confused (Combination of either happy and guilty or disappointed and guilty)

depression hurts

expressing your love to your partner is the strongest emotion.

Love is, by far the strongest emotion, simply because you can have all those other emotions (Fear, Rage, Sadness, Happiness, etc), because of love.

shame..brings on fear

anger. because it makes you feel violent. because it makes you want to do the worst you can no matter the outcome. and it makes you want to do ugly things you don't want to do. it can completely destroy.

Jealousy over rules all other emotions. Including, Love, Joy, Anger and anything else I can currently think of..

In my humble opinion, I'd have to say that "pride," is the strongest human emotion. Pride is essentially self-worship, therefore lacking humility. Communists like Hussein, Lenin, Pol Pot, Jong II, Stalin, Hitler, Amin, Gaddafi, Castro, Nero and many, many more throughout history... are all victims of pride, in my opinion. It's their way or the highway. Their pride consumed themselves, not to mention entire Nations.

Desire, or the feeling of wanting something. This feeling is the strongest and goes along with curiosity another one of the strongest feelings a creature can have. Desire can make fear a non-factor. It strengthens love or hate, and without enough desire to live suicide is the outcome.
