because thanos can teleport, not just himself but others, So...when Supes ends up in a Solarsystem, with a red sun thats about 5 feet from him, then what does he do?

He can't use his shields to attack is the point. When his shields are up he can't get in an attack, he has to disengage and launch an attack. The shields are irrelevant to a Thanos win. And on that note he doesn't have the fire power to take a Sun dipped Supes, Orion just guarantees it's a one sided beat down.
