And think of this, both of them are easily FTL characters, the fight visually would be much more high paced and Monarch might not be able to.

Besides, isn't the Monarch Prime fought just an amped Monarch that was fought in Arena? After absorbing all the Captain Atoms?

I think the two writers didn't know what each other was writing, that or just more bad Countdown writing.
