Thanos was more than likely boosted by the power orb he had stolen. It wasn't solely his powers being used to battle Tyrant, then. Tyrant did have problems, but at the end of the battle we clearly see Tyrant looking virtually unscathed while Thanos was a bloody mess.
Thanos is comparible to Prime. Especially durability wise.
imo simultaneously owning multiple GL's, like children:

But right here is monarch being defeated by less than Tyrant imo.
Tyrant is powerful to gain the advantage over Galactus while Monarch couldnt defeat Prime even when he got him back down to normal levels.
