If ROTK was longer

before ROTK came out there was a rumour that it will be 5 hours long !! would you be happy if ROTK was a longer movie ??

On one level, they could have included all of the material from the book. On another level, I'd really rather not sit in a theater for 5 hours watching 700 different endings. The special release edition was cool, but only because I watched with intermissions.

If RotK was longer I probably would have shot myself in the head halfway through, considering I was contemplating doing that right before it ended when I first saw it.

HELL YES!

But just like Kazenji said, the extended versions make the movie much longer, and I LOVE IT
