Should The texes Chainsaw Massacre be banned?

If you are talking about the original, then not at all. You hardly actually ever see any actual gore in the film, that's the beauty of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I find this topic highly funny when you have the new Rambo movie in your sig...

So? It's far gorier and bloodier than any of the TCM film.

But no, no fictional film should ever be banned unless it actually breaks a law in some way.

haermm Rambo 4 had people being blown up, a guy having his throat being ripped out, limbs being chopped off, kids being torched along with other people, a kid being raped and you say that TCM should be banned....haermm

um.....when a movie is banned outright or given an X/NC-17 rating or any rating for that matter, it is based off the offensive content contained in the film. Genre of film doesn't enter the equation. It's not they're going to pass 30 minutes of full on, hardcore, close-up anal penetration in Rambo 5 because it isn't a porno. It's the material that is offensive, no matter the movie it is contained.

they should have placed a ban on remaking the classic original

No, it shouldn't be banned.

The remake, or any Michael Bay production, should be.

Why ban TCM? For being a movie? For telling a story? For having realistic effects?

People who ban movies need their heads examined, except if there's something unethical or illegal taken place in the making of it (i.e. snuff, pedofilia).

There are hundreds of other movies that are far gorier.

WTF? this movie is light compared to some of the other movies. If its so disturbing for you than dont watch it.
