i don't know why i didn't do this sooner. namor has always been jim's most consistent foe......along with oldest friend.

I say namor FTW, but jim has given him a run in the past, and not just in the golden age. he also has one of the hottest flames i know of(judging from what he's done with it). he'll last, but namor in the end is too much.

Namor. Once you can get past his heat Human Torch is Human. Put a steel tooth pic in a match and notice how it isn't effected.

jim hammond isn't human.human torch has super-durability when ignited(also when un-ignited, but that's too complicated to get into right now). he also has super-speed(when ignited).here's how he's faired against a blow from the sub-mariner in the past:
