Hazmat: Final Run-Role Play

Started by Shaggs36 pages

"There are way too many of them for us to kill them all. Keep quiet and keep low. We're heading for the engine room at the far end of the ship, four decks down. There's something on this ship.. I can feel it." Jacob moved forward with the rest of the marines and Savannah. They all stayed in a tight snake formation, staying low and covering all directions. He tried to open a door, but was unsuccessful. "Doors are still locked from the original lock down. There should be an override switch, but this is a Russian model.. so I have no idea where it is."

Rek landed on the rain and wind swept deck beside Carlos. He looked up and down the gangtry and then pulled out his explosives pack. "Here..." he handed Carlos two small C4s with a remote detonater "...be carefull with these babies, they pack one hell of a wollop." He hoisted his assualt rifle and checked his suits functions. "Thanks Sam, everything works great."

Sam slid down to the deck. "No problem bro!" He slung a rope over his shoulder. "Search and destroy, or rescue?"

"We'll find out... Jacob, its Rek, do you read me?" The Hazmat asked into is com.

I think we should turn Hazmat into an audio drama.... it would be cool...

((good idea, a book then an audio drama.))

carlos took the c4 and hooked it to his belt. he began climbing down the slippery steps to the control room. as he forced open an access hatch a leaper came at him, knocking him over. it screached and began to rip at his armor.

I personally would have kept it quiet and desolate a few posts longer Mando, just to set the mood and add suspense.))

Rek grabbed the rope and paused. 'He's here.' He turned and looked down at Carlos as he made a motion with his hand, pointing down. "Who's here?" He asked him, getting a grip and sliding down.

((You just smashed through a reinforced door... -.- We won't be dealing with Leapers. There are new breeds of creatures on the Frieghter. We aren't meant to get to the control room for a while. I want this to be more creepy that gung ho. XD like I failed to do on the first one))

Jacob slid up against the wall and scowered the area. The rain was taking out the comms and his visiblility was garbage. "I.. read.. stay.. low."

And like I tried to instill in every one, all the time... and I'm always telling you, Mando, to not do that anyway, there are some elements of scripting to the final chapter controlled by Jacob and sometimes me... so just let us know before you scream bloody ZOMBIES!! ect... right Jaco?! Back me up 'ere. Think of Shaggs as the Administrator and me as a Moderator...))

Okay so we are still on the gangtry, the control room door was a no go and everything seems deserted, so we are heading back toward a stairway that heads down to the deck. Fifteen minutes later...

***

Rek looked hard at Carlos, then asked blandly. "Any ideas?" They were looking down another stairwell into the ship, so dark that their CLE's did not light up the end fully except for the odd spark from overhead lighting at the end giving the odd flash. "Power should be running through those lights but they've all been smashed." He looked at Sam who shrugged.

"You three are th' experts!" He waved his and from Kat to Rek encompassing Carlos.

"Well... we could find another way in..." He just now noticed the blast door that was ment to be covering the doorway actuall sticking out from a bulkhead above the narrow gantry they had upon decended.

Jacob and Savannah took point, with the other marines trailing close behind. They were inside of the lower area of the ship and most of the lights were functioning, but some made small pockets of darkness. Jacob lowered his weapon and leaned up against a wall, as a small fire burned in a corner from various items. "Must have made it as a makeshift barricade." Savannah inspected the barricade a little closer. "It looks like it was made in the last few days. They might still be alive." Jacob looked past the fire and saw something move. "Alright, get to work on putting out this fire!"

The reason I said the lights were smashed... well It's a breed I originally had intended to be in the second episode... Its had a screamish if short appearance, and gave to a poem series... 😂))

Frank nodded to Jacob and moved to grab extinguishers, while Bryce moved beside Jacob. "Do you think they're still alive?"

((I was trying to say that we were split up, and I thought you guys were in a different section anyway))

As the fire finally went out, Jacob made his way past the rest of the troops, seemingly in a trance, and found himself in an open hallway. No one was in there with him. As he examined a little closer, the other soldiers piled in after him, just as he stepped down onto a stairwell.

Shannon rubbed her arms and looked around. "Man this place is creepy. God I dont get why you Hazmats keep doing this." She said to Jacob.

Kat sighed and studied the stairs. "Well, we can find some flashlights or go in blind. As for the door we could take it off its hinges, which would take forever, or we could try and open it the old fashion way."

Jacob put his hand on Shannon's shoulder and looked her in the eyes. He spoke in almost a whipser as his face grew more serious. "Stay here." Slowly he inched his way down the stairs and emerged into a dark room. Feeling around for a light switch, he flipped it up, and froze instantly as the room lit up to reveal dozens of bodies all strewn out through the room. Each one with a horrified look on it's face. Quickly he turned around and made his way up the stairs, slamming the door closed.

Forget the door... and we are holding tourches... built into our suits. And Jaco I know you are in a different part of the ship.))

Rek shook his head, sensing something very different about this, something almost alien in every nature. He sighed, and with small resignation he raised his rifle and move down into the creaking ship. His mind reeled into the darkness ahead, his gun's torch light doing little. 'You have come to us...' Rek nearly tripped and fell as the voice came out of the gloom from all around him, he glanced back to look at the others, they didn't seem to have heard it. It was in his mind. After steadying himself he soon reached the bottom and set up two glow rods. "Okay c'mon down Kat." He whispered to Katerina's private frequency, knowing she had better leadership skills than Carlos, and would organise them better... 'Yes, Katerina Sands will join us too, Loran Mirez, you will aid her to her fate-' ...he quickly shook his head. "Damn." He stammered quitely.

carlos leaned against a wall, staring down the corridor. suddenly an idea came to mind. "we could shoot a flare down their to see anything that might try to ambush us!" he had already pulled one from his belt and was waiting for a response.

You all know where my Poetry thread is... Leave comments... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

<A voice blared through everyone's mind> "Ah, it is good to see you again, Director." Jacob's eyes widened and he tried to drown out the voices, but only filled his own head. "Do not try to hide it Lieutenant Book, you made me, you made us. You are the reason this even happened. You are our most powerful weapon." Jacob slid up againt the wall behind him, and covered his head with his hands. "It's ALL your fault!" A soldier yelled out from the voices. "Stop trying to turn us against each other!" Jacob just looked at him blankly. "He's not, he telling the truth." Grabbing the charges of C4 from the others, he slid into the room below him and charged back into the room, dead set on making it to the engine room.

((might be absent for a while))

Kat smiled and put her hand on the flair. "Nah.. Rek is waiting, single file and keep an eye on eachother!" She spoke privatly to Rek. "You ok love? You sound out of breath."

"Just a little shaken... They are speaking to me again. Like before but with more knowledge and purpose to it. You remember our little secret right... they want me to turn you, and, with Jacob, they wish us to lead them. I-" "You will come us." Rek silenced quickly. He could feel something seeking them out, he did not know what.

She soon stepped off the last stair and moved to stand beside him. "It will be ok. We're not alone this time. We have more people to fight them off with... It's ok, Rek." She smiled and took his hand. "I'm here and so are the others."

Jacob stopped right infront of the main engine, and started to set a charge on the wall beside it. "If I fail to stop it, I at least won't fail to sink it." He set all the charges to go off on a detonator and to go off in a specific order.

((The charges all fail when they hit the detonators, just so you know))
