I find it somewhat insulting that you indicated that MildPossession is somehow weird because she enjoys French horror and horror movies as a whole.
French cinema is very rich and French horror has been exceeding expectations in the past years. Not just expectations, but Hollywood by miles.
Enjoying any type of good movie is irrelevant to gender.

My 60 year old mom likes many of the same horror films that I do. Guess she's a goth now.

Dead Snow - Funny, Gory, Action packed, and some moments of pure greatness.
Cold Prey 2 - Decent but not as good as the first.
Dead Set - Awesome 5 part TV series about zombies invading Big Brother. Best TV show thats come out in ages.
