And the boulder itself wouldn't make DD suffer. . . the force behind the dude hurling it however, wouldn't be negligible. And you can't pick and choose when you want to believe what characters are saying. You say the he's trying to make DD suffer and that is evidence that he isn't going all out. Then in this argument, you try to say the he isn't trying to make him suffer. Make up your mind.
Batman surviving was ridiculous, but the fact that he even hangs in the same league with Diana and Clark is silly. But he's Batman. And there's no way they would let Batman die. That being said, look at the condition of Batman at the end of his encounter with Supes and compare that with WW. You honestly think they are even comparable?
And I'm not ignoring that Clark was seeing something completely different. Had he known he was fighting Diana, he surely would have fought differently. What I am disagreeing with is you claiming that because he was seeing DD and not Diana that is somehow evidence that he wasn't going all out. Everything that WW, Supes and Lord tell you says otherwise.
And that ring was supposed to kill Clark? 😕 Perhaps she hoped that it would weaken Clark long enough for her to, I don't know, lasso him? Again, Diana tells you time after time that Clark isn't her enemy and that she isn't going all out. One again, you can choose to ignore the comic if you want. Not to mention that Diana had her opening as well, after she bested him in a H2H exchange. Did she move in for the kill? No. She summoned the birds to keep him distracted so that she could go after Lord.
And again, get your sequence correct. He tried taking her to the sun. She broke free. He punched her so hard she blacked out for an instant. To be able to do that, considering her impressive resistance to blunt force, really does not lend to the argument that he was holding back. She wasn't out long enough and she was traveling so fast - I don't think this was the opportunity you think it was.
If you choose to respond, why don't you try actually *reading* what I wrote and responding appropriately.
And to get back to the ACTUAL point of this debate - it's ridiculous to think that Clark is multiple times stronger than Diana. Stronger yes. But by multiple times? I don't think so.
