I still think it is just as predictable and unoriginal as most sitcoms. There's nothing that really stands out to me, especially the very stereotypical way they portray the nerdy guys, rather like people would imagine them to be than what they are, annoys me. It has some gems at times, but in general it is mediocre. An alright way to pass some time, until a more original and good show releases stuff.

The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions.[5] In March 2009, it was reported that The Big Bang Theory had been renewed for a third and fourth season by CBS.[6] In August 2009, the sitcom won the best comedy series TCA award and Jim Parsons won the award for individual achievement in comedy.[7]
When the third season premiered on September 21, 2009, it ranked as CBS's highest-rated show of that evening in the adults 18–49 demographic (4.6/10), along with a then series-high 12.83 million viewers.[8]
As of September 2009, The Big Bang Theory airs on CBS on Mondays at 9:30 EST after Two and a Half Men,[9] another show produced by Lorre. On May 19, 2010, it was announced that CBS would be moving the show to Thursdays at 8:00 EST for the 2010–2011 schedule.[10]
