They sparred on the way to their destination:
The Cestus Deception
For two hours Obi-Wan Kenobi and Kit Fisto had practiced with their lightsabers, increasing their pace slowly and steadily as the minutes passed. The cargo bay sizzled with an energized metallic tang as their sabers singed moisture from the air.
[...]
Obi-Wan and Kit had been engaged for an hour now, each seeking holes in the other's defense. Obi-Wan swiftly discovered that Kit was the better swordfighter, astonishingly aggressive and intui-tive in comparison with Obi-Wan's more measured style. But the Nautolan gave himself deliberate disadvantages, hampered himself in terms of balance, limited his speed, emphasized his nondominant side to force himself to full attention, the kind of full attention that can be best accessed only when life itself is at risk. To relax and feel the flow of the Force under such stress was the true road to mastery.
Obi Wan himself admits that Kit is better, and it isn't just humility- the Nautolan has to handicap himself.
That Russian site is a godsend for quote wars.

Yet in this same comic Fisto is beat by Ventress and Obi-Wan makes her retreat. And Cestus Deception is just 1 year after genosis so yeah, obi-wan takes it all.
This isn't a comic. 😬
Also:
Kenobi is in trouble- he only makes her retreat when Fisto cuts one of the pylons and drops both Obi-Wan and Ventress into the water. Kenobi fights better than Ventress in this new environment, and forces her to flee. Its a totally different situation- not A>B>C applicable.
