I was a victim of racism earlier...

So my sister and I took my nephew to go get his haircut today. We stopped at this place that advertises $7 haircuts for first timers. We get in the place and it's one of those neighborhood barber shops, you know the kind...just watch that crappy Ice Cube movie. The place is run by a few African American guys.

So we get in there, we sit patiently in the waiting chairs awaiting my nephews turn. After about 20 minutes (it seriously took them this long to cut 1 man's hair) another family walks in the door. They are black.

We've been waiting this entire time and not 2 minutes after this new family arrives a barber chair is freed and it's my nephews turn. The barber looks right at us and then at the new family and tells this man to get his son in the chair. Go figure, we're the only "white folk" in the place, excluding the wigger that just got his hair cut. My sister and I exchange a look and then got up and walked away, me flipping them off.

Phucking racists.

Maybe they had an appointment?

Be glad you don't live in Compton. That does suck though, majorly.

No, this guy never acknowledged ever having met this man before. He didn't look at his watch to see if it were time for an appointment haircut. He just looked at both of us and decided which one he wanted to work on.

thats fuked up, dude. Maybe black people just don't know how to cut whitey's hair. How old is your nephew, did he acknowledge that? Seriously though, it's a child. I know that black people around here don't like it when whitey shops in "their" stores. You never go into a black barber in certain area's around here but it was your nephew. That means black people hate white children.

Totally, at those kinds of barber shops. Those kinds of barbershops are very strict at who they enjoy the company of. Unless you're good friends with them, it's hard to even get good service. Barbershop I used to go to, I knew them well, they used to treat me the way they treated the family that got there after Ken, no hassles, even though there'd be like five people ahead of me.

They had boards on the wall showing hairstyles they do. There was a section for black hairstyles and then others (which includes whites).

My nephew is 6. He doesn't understand what happened.

Well i don't know, i think i could...i don't see how one side can be racist and get away with it, yet when the other side uses it, it becomes a mass hysteria.

Just saying that racism shouldn't be a factor on either side, it shouldn't exist but what can you do, there are always people who will be racist or claim something is racist like RES 5, which by the way it is not, i just get annoyed that it's always one side is the victim, yet when another side (like when white people get it) it's brushed under the carpet.
