Liu Kang vs Tommy Oliver (Power Rangers)

I like Liu Kang. My buddy likes Tommy from Power Rangers - White Ranger being his favorite.

So what happens if these two heroes crosses paths?

Tommy can't power-up, just to be fair, since White Ranger is overkill.

I don't think it's fair if Tommy isn't allowed to power up! He should at least get to morph into white ranger, but he doesn't get Saba.

I mean after all Liu Kang can shoot fire balls...

Unrelated, but I much prefer Green Ranger and his Dragonzord, man that was awesome how his zord came out of the sea and also he smashed the Power Rangers back when he was evil.
And zomg, the tune he plays on his Dragon flute was sweet. ok end random talk.

If Tommy were to power up then it would be a different story

Considering the guy who played Tommy is highly regarded in the martial artist community, and Robin Shou (Liu Kang) is essentially a fight choreographer, I'd hand it to Tommy.

you should set up 3 scenarios:

1: Normal Human Fight

2: Liu Kang vs Powered Up Tommy

3: Liu Kang transformed into a Dragon vs Tommy and his Dragonzord.

Movie Liu Kang didn't show any phenomenal H2H skills while Tommy as the Black, Green, White, Red and Red Ranger has been doing things and defeating monsters with his barehands.

Tommy should win all 3 if Liu Kang doesn't get to shoot fireballs or anything in the first fight.

But would Tommy beat Sub-zero like Liu Kang did?

Hmm...that idea does sound like a good idea. REVAMP TIME!

Round One: Normal Liu and Normal Tommy.

Round Two: Tommy can morph into the White Ranger. Liu can also use his Bike Kick and the Power Punch. Tommy is armed with Saba and Liu has the battle staff (from his first fight with Hakim Alston)

Round Three: Liu changes into the Dragon while Tommy Pilots the Dragonzord.

Who wins?

1: Kang

2: Tommy

3. Tommy
