Yeah I tried it, I got one from Tesco's for £1.59 quite pricey I thought but I'm open to trying new things.
its very much like a kiwi except you think your gonna get either a sour hit or a sweet hit, you dont get either. Its nore of a very "hardly there" vanilla flavour and the texture is more fleshy than a kiwi but not unlike it. Personally I felt a bit ripped off 😂
so I wont waste my money again. I tried it wasnt that fussed on it. I likem what I'm eating to actually have a flavour.
yeah with something that looks like a dragon fruit you expect an intense flavour of some kind that just doesn't come...bit bland and watery but still nice
now passion fruit on the other hand
also...if you can find it..get jackfruit...the biggest fruit in the world...we got them in once for a laugh...they're bigger than water melons...

I saw it while shopping in Tesco's the other day.The colour caught my eye. Bright Pink skin, with pale green leaves.
I dint know what to expect when i cut it open.. Maybe some kind of mango? but it was white with black seeds with texture kinda like a kiwi.
Anyone else had this fruit?
Ive never seen that before.

We have those growing in our backyard (I live in the Caribbean). They're called Chataigne here. They aren't meant to be eaten raw; I hope you know that. ermm And......they aren't bigger than watermelons. Unless you've only seen really small watermelons.. But I can tell you I've seen watermelons three to four times as big as 'jackfruit'.
i've seen these things in south east Asia grow up to a nearly a metre in length and 50cm wide
i cant say i've ever seen a water melon grow that big
and you can eat it uncooked...most of the time it's not but you can
