Catwoman by Alex Ross!

This is the first time Ross will do a modern day Catwoman. It will be feature in Batman # 685.

I read the solicits for the story, sound very good

'bout time Alex Ross did something I enjoy. Not that he's a bad artist, but some of his characters he's drawn are given too much realism when they're supposed to be comic book characters... Something about a super-realistic Harley Quinn and rather dorky looking Spder-Man makes it not work for me.

What is it - just the cover, or a single issue story?

Catwoman does look very good - better than Ross' version of Batman. He's not one of his stronger characters.

I'd say that his strongest character is Superman. To me, out of all the characters he's drawn, he draws Superman the best.

Covers so far...but with Ross is hard to say if he will make more artwork involving Catwoman. So far he hit it out of the ballpark with this illustration.

I certainly have to agree. He did a great job on every level...he made her look sleek, sexy, and feline all in one!

That should be Selina's next costume. I think the artist should submit it as a suggestion to the DC staff. That would be perfect for a Nolan/Batman movie.
