Thor vs. Thanos

Can thor use the Godblast to defeat Thanos? Why? Why Not?
Thanos is not on his ship and will not have his shields or prep to protect him.

Thanos's shields would survive it. he was withstood assualts from Omega and Galactus. Both of whom are more powerful than Thor. He even took on Odin who is more powerful than Thor. He is too durable and has shields to protect him.

if thanos doesn't have his shields, thor wins

How would Thor hit Thanos? Doesn't it take time to conjure the Godwave? Thanos would have surely moved out of the way. Or threw a big Rock At Thor's head while he calls on his godblast.

Thanos can survive the god blast with no shields but Prime took a blast from an angry Mordru and Thor's god blast is suppose to own prime? Bias much. Thor kills Thanos with the godblast.

DS would just use the finder beams on thor. they can't be deflected. can't be asborbed. can't be blocked. And thor didn't do alot of things on panel that he could have when he was you know, crazy and not thinking clearly. Thanos's cube wouldn't hold a god blast anyway. Btu the point is, While Thor is gearing up for a god blast, he has to concentrate. leaving him wide open for thanos to attack.

Thanos survives.

Thanos would be able to fire his hella powerful energy blasts before Thor launches his Godblast. Thanos would win. He's a much smarter fighter than Thor and has gone mano-a-mano with more powerful beings.

Thanos wins if he's just not there waiting for the godblast to hit him.
