I was thinking more along the lines of...
He's so fast that he already has his "sights" set on the next target. He's that good. He's always one step ahead with his eyes He IS called scarletspeed.

Well, no one in this thread so far had one.
Besides, I don't find them annoying as much as laughably odd looking at times. And I don't really thinkg that Guy's and BS' (haha) sigs are really seizure sigs. They are just animated sigs with obnoxious taste in colouring.
