Hmmm...didn't even think of the Radion! This can turn easily into a 3 on one. If SS exploits Orion and Supes weaknesses, I find it hard to believe Thanos can hold up against DS, SS, and WL a bit much.

isn't Warlock, on his own, a challenge for Thanos?

However, there is a flip side to that coin... Thanos could go right after surfer and pwn him very quickly... while Orion goes after DS and Superman goes after Warlock. Supes can beat warlock on his own and Orion has beaten DS as well. However, I givs DS the vast majority he can at least keep DS at bay. So, then it could be Thanos and Supes against DS which is pwnage. If Supes goes after DS again he's beaten him before and I give Orion the majority over Warlock so again we're left with Ownage for team 1. It's all about matchups

Thanos had combined the seven Infinity Gems (then called the Soul Gems) into one large, Star Gem. But he was using it to blow up stars and wasn't siphoning power off of it directly. He wasn't upgraded at all.

I don't see why its hard to believe. Warlock is what, mid-herald? Hell, it was Warlock who suggested that Thanos might be able to take down Odin, because the limits of his power hadn't been tested at that point in time.

I thought Warlock was a good deal more powerful than 'classic' Surfer?
even if he was/is mid-herald, that's just too easy. Thanos has never just willed Surfer dead, and he has killed Surfer before.

anyway, I think current Surfer would give Thanos a fight, if Warlock doesn't cut the mustard.

Nope warlock isnt more powerful than classic surfer. he has been referred to as warlocks superior on a few occassions even.

oh, dunno... guess it was because he's the guardian of the Soul Gem and the whole infinity gauntlet handling business... figured he was a few grades above Surfer.

7/10 for team 2, DS is what makes the difference.
