Hal in the end would take it. DS never stalemated The Source, it was playing along the whole time to get him to say what he was doing. DS 'did' last longer then anyone and showed major feats battling The Source, that is incredible.

If it's a question of power alone Spectre is above DS.

But DS with the justification of the ALE is above Spectre and any sentient being regardless of their nature with the possible exceptions of Presence, the Source entity (maybe) et al.

You dont have to kill Ds to beat him in a thread. Spectre oneshotted him. Just like when you kill Doomsday you dont terminate his existence,but instead beat him in the thread. You try so hard to break the rules in favor of Seid.
