League of Champions Week Six: Charlotte Vs. Digi

Scans-only post #2

In my post above I briefly touched Soulsword being the embodiment of Limbo. Now I'm posting some more scans on that.

Soulsword originally was the embodiment of magical powers of original Magik (Illyana Rasputina), which she gained inside Limbo:

Unlike Illyana, who depended mostly on sword's reserves to work her magic, Amanda Sefton (aka Jimaine Szardos) was really promicing sorceress (listed among the best in the world) prior to gaining that

The "Winding Way"'s pecularity are jumping energy reserves.

Margali Szardos got her hands on the sword while being at the lowest point of her power - but she was able to use the sword to restore her energy and kill most of the magicans ahead of her on the Winding Way, as well as use its energy to create a new body for herself.

Digi Post #6

Woof.

This may be my last post. I'm not sure when I'll be in tonight. If it is, good match Charlotte.

Item #1

Charlotte offered no further objections to Minion Prime after I recently debunked her claims, which were based on flatly false assumptions about the characters that I put to rest. It's 1 hive-mind, if you will, and the lightning bolts have never damaged a secondary psyche in the many times transformations have taken place with multiple personalities inside.

Based on the lack of further argument, I must conclude that she has no further objections. She even referred to him as Minion Prime in her last post, the first time she has done so all match in a non-debunking manner.

Judges, if she does present further objections, the current ones are already debunked. She would need to present an entirely new reason, not a re-hashed old one. And it would need to overcome the evidence I've produced myself, as well as the inadvertent help she's given me with her scans.

Remember, I proved Minion has souls, I proved the souls activate the Marvels' powers, and I (and Charlotte's scans) proved that they can exist in a different host body and still work fine, without damaging either the body or the other personalities inside of it.

Item #2

The soulsword. Charlotte LOVES flooding matches with scans. Some help, others are needless. But here's the bottom line: After mercilessly killing their sacrificial character that was part of the failed plan (remember, she faced me 1-on-3 at the start in hopes that I would telepathically attack Oracle. I didn't.), Minion's job is to stay alive, out of combat, phased, and only to contribute if absolutely necessary. Because my other 2 can win from there.

Then add that to my reflexes that literally border on Flash level. MNer has taken out Quicksilver-level speedsters, the Marvels are a blur to human eyes, and KK has actually matched a Flash in reaction time with his skill. I've showed all of that, specifically, numerous times with scans, dotted throughout the thread.

A few human-reaction-time people would be moving in ultra-slow motion to Minion. Not only could a sword never hit me, nothing could in this fight. If you believe otherwise, I'm sorry but you're wrong. Speedster vs. unskilled human level. End of story.

Oh, and the souls/minds are still in the mind of Minion. That wouldn't be included in "basic knowledge" and random cuts from the sword wouldn't do anything. And by that time, Minion would have killed you 9 times over.

And all I see are soulsword feats. They don't make you faster, Char. It's still like if you or I were trying to tag Karate Kid with Herald-level speed, and with the ability to calculate every eventuality in a fight (MNer). Woof.

Item #3

Dark Angel. Despite the fact that I've repeatedly stated that Angel's mainly there for tp defense, Charlotte insists that I'm going for all-out tp warfare.

Btw, I never blow my load too early in a match, and I always keep a trump card in reserve. Been saving these for a special occasion.

Dark Angel can channel others' telepathic energy, and turn that pain into destructive force which she then releases on her opponent:

See, Charlotte? It doesn't take dozens of scans. All it takes is one epic feat to prove you wrong.

And just because we like to see a feat repeated:
http://img119.imageshack.us/my.php?image=angel16xk3.jpg
She can channel even physical pain into psychic energy.

So let's be clear here. All the tp skill Emma's displayed in the scans. All the power. I wanted that to happen. And now I turn it back against her. Everything tp feat Charlotte posted was damage to her own team.

I can't stress that enough. I just negated about 1/2 of Charlotte's last 3-4 posts. But not just negated it, but used it against her. Buh-bye.

Item #4

So let's see. Minion, check. Sword, check. Tp, check. I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Random stuff then, eh? Let's see....oh, Death Metal's promethium body was heavily enchanted by a Skyfather-level character (Charnel) who ruled an entire world. Comparing regular promethium to DM is like comparing a steel hammer to Mjolnir.

Remember, they'd have to tag Minion directly in the cranium while moving at speeds about 1000 slower (not hyperbole, that might actually be generous to them), 1000 less skilled, and also while fighting for their lives against 2 other superior opponents. Minion could fly randomly at a distance at Mach 10 while my other 2 kill her remaining 2. Impossible to hit, and still available if it comes to a fight.

As before, and as usual, if you believe my plan, I win easily and hands-down. And chances are I win even without Minion Prime, but it's a straight whuppin' with him in the lineup.

Believe.

I will admit that this match taxed me....Digi's poem quote and the debunking, then de-debunking, then de-de-debunking, etc. 😛

At times it seemed like there was serious misunderstandings about what was going on. So I read through this a few times to make sure.

I believed Digi is able to do what he stated. Some things are more shaky than others but it is pretty solid.

I also thought much of Char's plan. She is very detailed and provides scans. I was at a loss for the whole prep area/information access thing.

All things being equal, I'm not totally convinced that Oracle had access to DNA samples at the prep location. I also wasn't completely convinced that Digi did enough to convince that Char couldn't mess with souls.

For me, it came down to the prep and amalgams. I think Digi had the edge in planning, by not going for the "bait", and in power. Minion appeared to have a decent edge in all categories and would be the last standing. I just don't think Char's team would have been able to put Minion down.

My vote: Digi...in a close match.

I'm way late ('cept for Goober I guess) so here it is in short.

Charlotte banked too heavily on taking out Minion and assuming that Digi would field no other effective amalgamations. I saw no argument that proved to me she would be able to defeat Minion or survive his attacks. The scans showing Marvel's powers in Superman's body ended my last remaining questions about the Minion Prime idea being plausible.

Good match Charlotte. Sorry you ran into the buzzsaw that is team Digi ( 😉 ). But it's always a pleasure debating against you. And I'll see you in the playoffs.

Good match as well. And "buzzsaw" is a nice parallel...you're making a lot of buzz in the tourney.
