Riddick despite being a penultimate badass, is not strong enough to take Hellboy.
Hellboy is stronger and more durable, and is not really slow either.

Hellboy showed how fast he is in Hellboy 2, he could easily tag Riddick (who was no faster than the elf prince). One punch and Riddicks face caves in.
