Respect Gog!

This thread will be dedicated to the various versions of Gog..

Please do not spam/troll this thread, people doing so will be reported immediately..

Lets begin…

The first section will showcase..

Gog from, “The Kingdom”..

A quick origin:

In short, Gog was gifted with power from every member of the Quintessence..

Gog felt it was his purpose to kill Superman…. Every Superman, in fact. And he accomplished this ‘task’ hundreds, of times across various realities – becoming quite creative with some of his methods..

Here are a few of those instances:

======

======

======

A look at a fraction of Supermen Gog equilized:

Gog’s staff not only housed the power of a dozen red suns:

But it also housed..

“The emerald Energy of the Guardians of the Universe
“The Cosmic power of the Source
“The magical might of Zeus and Shazam combined”:

======

That’s why it was possible for him to do things like, blast a hole through Mxy himself:

Granted, Mxy was unprepared for the attack, but it’s still impressive nonetheless..

With his incredible power, Gog was able to own several Amazonians at once:

======

Gog was able to easily hit opponents as fast as KC Flash, because he can actually see the electrons energizing in front of speedsters when they move..

“To my eyes, you may as well be waving a flag”:

======

Only by stepping in between nanoseconds, were some of the heroes able to approach Gog’s speed:

======

Gog was able to feed upon energy attacks being used against him, thus increasing his own power:

Note that Gog actually fed upon the energies of Alan Scott, Nabu, Starman, etc, etc..

======

Shatters one of Alan Scott’s constructs (which was also fortified with Nabu’s magic,) like it wasn’t even there:

======

Owns Captain Atom:

Gog was able to copy powers from other beings..

Here he displays heat-vision (an ability he copied from Amazo in the year 2025):

======

Snaps Wonder Woman’s sword of Hephaestus:

======

Gog was only moderately injured when Batman tried using the Phantom Zone projector to banish him to another dimension:

======

Owns the group of heroes:

======

The power Gog had access to was beyond that of even the Quintessence:

======

Gog’s presence in the timestream was an anomaly, an anomaly the not even the Linear Men could detect:

======

Gog was able to traverse through Hypertime itself. This made him one of the single most powerful threats DC has ever known:

Onto another version of Gog..

Gog, from "The Wrath of Gog":

Owns Conner like he’s a weak feeb:

Smacks Superman around:

======

-Superman-
“That guy can hit.”:

======

Gog’s staff was able to pierce Superman like a hot knife through butter:

======

Possessed teleportation:

======

Next up is...

Gog, during the "Gog Wars":

A brief origin on this version of Gog:

By mastering his powers over time, Gog could gather a nigh-infinite legion of his past 'selfs' from the timestream..

With the powers of each 'self' approaching that of Superman, trying to beat an endless army of them is pretty much an impossible task:

======

After an extremely evolved version of Doomsday joined the battle against Gog (along with various Supermen from other eras) the war lasted one hundred years:

During this time, the ‘real’ Gog had been torturing Superman with Kryptonite confines. That is, until Doomsday showed up, and Superman used his powers of ‘speechification’:

After speaking with the duo, Gog dissolves his army, and teleports away with Doomsday:

======

But of course, the cycle inevitably starts again:

Now for the most recent version(s) of Gog..

JSA Gog:

A quick battle with Infinity Man (whom was the agent of the Source, at the time.) IMO, it looked like Gog had the slight advantage before Infinity Man left the battlefield:

======

Gog’s scuffle with the combined members of the JSA (part 1):

Gog’s scuffle with the combined members of the JSA (part 2):

Gog’s scuffle with the combined members of the JSA (part 3):

Note that it was only when Obsidian actually entered Gog in hope of toying with any fears he might have, that the heroes began gaining an edge on him..

The ‘true’ Gog is awakened:

======

This Gog shares his origin..

It turns out that he is actually a remaining God from the Third World, who was cast out because he did not want any part of their war:

He also speaks of how his first ‘herald’ came into being…

The 'true' Gog lets Sandman finally sleep:

======

Restores Doctor Mid-Nite’s vision:

======

Gives Starman the ability to ‘think straight’:

======

Sends Powergirl back home:

======

Transforms a group of terrorists into trees:

=======

Resurrects a fallen soldier, who died fighting the above terrorists, into his new herald (dubbed Magog):

======

Though this new herald of Gog’s is still being extrapolated on, it was revealed that he possesses great power..

“His power levels are approaching yours, Superman” (and that’s KC Superman he’s talking to)
“I’d say the energy he’s channeling through that staff is bordering on Alan’s Green Flame”:

That's the extreme bulk of what Gog has done to date. Please note that I'd prefer nothing regarding Magog (from KC) be added at this point in time.

Thanks. 🙂

WOW, I had NO idea that some of the versions of Gog were THAT uber!!!

Excellent job!! 😱

Thanks man. 😄
