This is not about the PT, but about the Clone Wars. there's better animated stories around. Why can't Lucas Films make something great?

Well, I refuse to call it "not great" until I see where it goes. TV shows take time and often start out very different from where they end. I'm willing to have patience, but personally I wont endlessly plug it.

As far as "great" things. I just don't think there are many 'great" things, ever. "Great" is a mental perception that is achieved with time and a lot of societal pressure.

Let's take LOST for instance: great from the beginning.

Clone Wars: we have ten episodes so far... plus three incorporated in the film. We're well on the way and it's still okayish but nothing groundbreaking.

Well, I'd say OKish is a decent start.

No, its not groundbreaking. Not everythign is, though I agree it should be.

I am officially giving up on it now cause of Jar Jar being in that one episode, that was just a bad and stupid move. just stick with the cartoon one from a few years ago.

It's a good start.

This episode, while not ultimately a good one imo, is FAR from the bottom of this ever-disappointing series.
