Democratic leaders in the U.S. House discuss confiscating 401(k)s, IRAs

These Dems clearly think we are stupid. A quote from the article.

"All workers would have 5 percent of their annual pay deducted from their paychecks and deposited to the GRA. They would still be paying Social Security and Medicare taxes, as would the employers. The GRA contribution would be shared equally by the worker and the employee. Employers no longer would be able to write off their contributions. Any capital gains would be taxable year-on-year."

This is just a plan to put more money in government coffers in return for a government guaranteed IOU. Also when you die you can heir your 401k to your family. you can't do that with Social Security.

Here it is 4 days after the election and I'm already sleeping better knowing that I didn't vote for Democrat.

Yep, just another way for them to get their hands on your money and do what they want with it. Even when you die they are making sure they get all the can.

This is always how it is. Obama deserves the same respect from the Republicans that the Democrats have given every Republican President since Nixon. It's just one of the numerous reasons political parties need to be abolished.
