Well im not arguing with Jutsu. Sasuke is naturally faster that Shishio. Kenshin if he had a real sword. Would have killed Shishio like 15 times in that fight.(exaggerating but shishio didnt get killed by kenshin because of a reversed blade sword)
Now Sasuke. he wont have that luxary. And wasnt this battle Said to be just between swords. No other equipment. meaning Shiship doesnt have what he needs to ignite his sword or his bomb gloves?
If no Jutsu is allowed. Does that mean Sasuke gets Shuriken and Kunais. And his windmill Shuriken. Cuz if it does. And their respective equipemnt is allowed. Sasuke would stomp this fight

Rules stipulate that Sasuke is ONLY allowed the use of his SWORD. Shishio has no such handicaps.

so the fact that shishio was having inner battles with himself has nothing to do with why he lost. kenshin even asks him whats on his mind because his fighting was off.
Well. Thats somewhat true. Kenshin was heavily wounded during the battle and was stated to not have lost a step. I thik Shishio was fine enough to battle. The fact still remains that if Kenshin was using a real sword to kill. He would not of had the problems he had through out the manga. And would have died multiple times by Kenshin blade. But yeah thats how the story goes.
Sasuke is still highly skilled in his swordsmanship and in weapons general. Uchiha specially in weapon combat(well its hinted but then again all forms of combat w/ or w/o sharingan). The reason why Im leaning towards Sasuke is pure fact of superior speed. Superior skill i have no odubt in mine that Shishio takes the cake in swords. But the fact is he still has to deal with Sasuke's speed. Superior skill wont really matter if he can bearly keep up with his movements much less hit him

Actually. In the manga. With the way events acttually happened. its highly being pointed to that the fight with Kirabi happened a few days after the itachi fight. So basically a few days to week. Sasuke endured something that normally kills shinobi and put an elite shinobi who is more developed in the hospital for 2 weeks. Then on top of that litterally having part of his being being ripped out of him. Curse seal which was integrated in his body for 3 years. Orochimaru. Then all the small time attacks. Damaged from Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi. Then getting damaged by Kirin.Sasuke didnt have his super healing abilities. Even Sasuke and Juggo stated that Sasuke was still injured from his fight with Itachi. And seeing how much time has actually passed. No more than week and few days has passed since the Itachi fight.
And Sasuke is not half the swordsman Shishio is. That's not even a debate. Sasuke is just a fast guy who can use a sword. Not some uber skilled sword masta.

Has only used it sparingly, against people clearly weaker than him, the only person he fought with a sword that was strong was Kirabi, who pwned him.
Shishio has been training for years, and is one of the greatest in Japan.
He knows, like Kenshin, many Battojutsu styles that allows him to rival Kenshin, who has mastered all Battojutsu, in that area.
He also has his own unique attacks involving fire, using the body oils and serrated sword edge to cause his sword to catch fire, make an explosion, or create an inferno around the blade.

1. Your point. He learned and mastered Chidori in two weeks. Which was his second elemental affinity. It normally takes years to learn your first one and even longers for the second one. In those same two weeks. he learned Lee's high speed taijutsu in the same amount of time. When it took him YEars to get to that level. Yes these are not swords skills. but thing is. It proves he a fast learner and can master techniques in a short amount of time. he had 3 years to train with it. So its more than enough. Not to mention he has been trainning with his brother since before he was 7 in weapons.
2. Point being. And he didnt exactly get owned in swords. He disabled and took away Suigetsu sword from him with ease. And block his spinning cartwheel of death. having multiple blades slash at him. All with sharingan activated. Then the sword drop messed him up but he still wasnt injured that bad. Then he got cocky and overconfident in his abilities. But either way. This no how proves SHishio is better. Shisio would get his ass handed to him by Kirabi worst than Sasuke ever will.
3. Your point. Sasuke is argubly the 3rd strongest Uchiha in the existence of uchiha who were the strongest clan in the world. Japan including if there is a japan equivelent.
4. Simple titles dont mean nothing. So dont bring him up. Knowing a fictional style or a certain fighting wont mean he is better. And kenshins style revovles around high speed movements Sasuke is leagues faster than Shishio or Kenshin.
5. Point being. None those tricks were still enough to take down Kenshin. And Sasuke is more faster than kenshin at base speed. hell is was most likely faster pretimeskip than any character in kenshin.
these points you listed dont really equate to much. No one doubted his skill. But i dont see how anything you listed proves your point. I could argue that Sasuke can just drop his sword and beat him senselss with his barehands. Sasuke has taken down over 1000 shinobi all at the same time w/o killing or using his CS or breaking a sweat. And didnt even get a scratch on him. Same thing as for CS2's. There is nothing Shishio can do with a sword that Sasuke can't but faster.
Shishio wont even get the chance to cut him.
